Niki Willoughby spent nine years in the United States Air Force and was highly trained as at nuclear weapons specialist and a hardware engineer. However, when Niki left the military, she didn’t understand how the skills that she had gained in the Air Force could apply to the civilian workforce. Niki’s journey has taken her from nuclear weapons specialist and hardware engineer to bartender to student, and she has successfully landed a job as a data analyst at technical company with a global reach and was recently promoted to systems engineer. Niki has a passion to help veterans transitioning to the civilian workforce and actively mentors veterans with their job hunt.
