Hongyu Cui is a Technical Staff at DataVisor Inc, where she is responsible for fraud analysis with the distributed unsupervised machine learning algorithm since 2015. Her current work involves model tuning, feature engineering and algorithm developing. She is experienced in identifying various fraud scenarios like mass registration, fake reviews, spam, fraudulent transactions and fake app installs on the largest internet properties in the world such as Pinterest, Yelp, Alibaba and Cheetah Mobile. Before this, she completed her Ph.D. in Polymer Composites from Iowa State University where she studied data analysis and structure-property modeling.
