Trisha Biswas is a Software Development Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS). She has been working with the control plane networking team at AWS for the past year. Prior to that, she worked with the software defined networking team at Aruba Networks. She graduated with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from North Carolina State University in 2014. Her area of research was in designing routing protocols for wireless ad hoc and mesh networks. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, backpacking and being outdoors. She is passionate about getting youngsters interested in computer science and has been involved in several outreach efforts to improve STEM participation.
