Amy Yin is in her fifth year as a full-time software engineer and has a bachelors in Computer Science from Harvard College. She co-founded the company Vapor Communications with Harvard professor David Edwards in 2012, worked on Ads Infra and Internet.org at Facebook, lead internationalization at Hired, and is most recently a software engineer at Coinbase, the best way to buy and sell digital currency. She co-founded the Harvard Women in Computer Science and was recipient of the 2014 Harvard Women’s Leadership Award. She has done countless hours of career coaching, from mock interviews to helping friends analyze situations at work to career pathing. In her free time, she loves to read business and tech-centric books and spends her time hanging out with friends, practicing yoga and co-parenting her two kittens with her partner.
