Agnes Liu is a Vice President of Design at Yahoo, responsible for elevating design quality and inspiring forward-thinking desktop and mobile experiences. She currently leads the media design team that defines next-gen products for Yahoo’s pillars: News, Sports, Entertainment and Finance. Prior to Yahoo, Agnes was a Senior Designer at Schematic (purchased by WPP), specializing in application interfaces and video streaming experiences. Her clients include ABC News, CNN, FOX, Turner, The Weather Channel, UGO and Starz. Agnes has a BA in Design, Media Arts from UCLA, and holds seven design patents. She’s been presented with an Apple Design Award, a Communication Arts Interactive Award, the Digiday Award, the Broadcast Design Award, and was nominated for an Interactive Emmy.
