Aditi Bhattacharyya is a Technical Lead in the Amazon Personalization organization. Her primary focus is on personalized product recommendations for Amazon customers. In particular, she is working on generating recommendations for consumables with emphasis on helping customers shop for groceries and everyday essentials as well as encouraging repeat purchase of products. She joined Amazon Web Services in 2013 and worked in networking domain for three years. Prior to that she worked in Ixia and Hewlett Packard in India. Aditi earned her Master's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Jadavpur University and her Bachelor's degree from West Bengal University of Technology. Her research interests lie in machine learning algorithms and its applications in recommender systems and personalization. She is also actively involved in mentoring Amazon’s women interns and new hires as well as high school students as part of Girls Who Code summer program.
