Charmy is an Engineering Manager on Maps Point-Of-Interest (POI) team at Apple, where she is focused on developing end-to-end machine learning systems for generating and enhancing POIs that power Search and Nearby experience for Maps users across the world. Previously, she led machine learning and data science efforts at Chegg and SimplyHired where she built a vast majority of their first generation data-driven products in the areas of search, personalization, and recommendations. Charmy graduated from University of Southern California with a Masters degree in Computer Science, specializing in Intelligent Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.
