Kishau Smith Rogers is a serial tech entrepreneur and Chief Executive of Websmith Studio. She has over twenty years of experience in using computer science and systems thinking principles to influence how we develop, grow and mature great ideas. Kishau is on a mission to make thinking sexy again. Her mission is not to teach people how to code, but to train them how to think and to leverage modern technology for building things that matter. Under her leadership, the Websmith brand has operated for over thirteen years, partnering with organizations to take their ideas from conceptualization to commercialization. Her commercial work includes successful ventures such as TimeStudy, a health enterprise solution and PeerLoc, a geolocation platform startup co-founded with Dr. Wei Cheng. Kishau earned her Computer Science degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is the recent recipient of the Wells Fargo STEM award presented by NAWBO and the Lyn McDermid Community Impact Award.
