Smriti Narang is a Software Engineer at Nest Labs contributing to smart home devices design and development. She is mainly focussed on embedded device features that use communication technologies like Thread, Wifi and BLE. Prior to Nest, Smriti has spent many years developing embedded systems for networking, biomedical and consumer products space. She has also worked on Zigbee and contributed to industrial low power wireless protocol ISA100 at Honeywell in her early career. Smriti holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, and a specialization in Embedded Systems Design.
