Gilda Garretón is a senior CAD engineer at Intel where she works in yield analysis for post-silicon. Previous to Intel, she was a principal engineer at Oracle and her main research focused on VLSI CAD algorithms and parallel programming. Gilda is an Open Source advocate and a Java/C++ developer. She received her B.A. and Engineering degree with honors from the Catholic University of Chile (PUC) and her Ph.D. from the Swiss Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETHZ). Gilda is a co-founder of Latinas in Computing and she is a Great Minds in STEM Luminary Honoree. She was an ABI Advisory Board Member.
