Dr. Robin L. Graham is Deputy Associate Laboratory Director for the Computing, Environment and Life Science Directorate at the Argonne National Laboratory. She is also the Director of the Center for Geospatial Analysis. An ecosystem ecologist by training, she is turning her attention to urban ecosystem sustainability and is engaged with the Urban Center for Computation and Data, a joint initiative of the University of Chicago and Argonne. The acquisition and use of geospatial environmental data in an urban setting to inform sustainability decisions is her focus. She currently is leading Argonne’s Biological and Environmental Science Initiative, which aims to accelerate our understanding of the fundamental design principles in biological and environmental systems.
