Karen Weiss works in corporate communications at Intuit, where she’s had a variety of roles for 20+ years. A former coder and product development manager, she made the mid-career change to her current role when she realized that the best application of her skills was helping technical people communicate in an engaging and understandable way. One of the most rewarding parts of her job is working with Intuit’s technical women to deliver great content at GHC. She is passionate about activism and philanthropy, and she serves on the boards of two nonprofits, The BETTY Effect and BANDALOOP. She received a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and completed graduate coursework in computer science at the University of Maryland.
