Lisa Schneider is Chief Digital Officer & Publisher at Merriam-Webster, where she leads digital strategy and execution across content and product development, user experience, and technology. Since she joined Merriam-Webster in August of 2014, the team has launched a successful responsive redesign which was a 2016 Webby Honoree and featured in a Responsive Web Design podcast. She has also revamped the content and social media strategy, quadrupling the brand’s followers and engagement and garnering extensive press coverage—along with a Shorty and three Webby awards in 2017. Previously, Lisa held executive roles in digital strategy and product development at Penton, Budget Travel, Reader’s Digest, and Bridal Guide. In each of these roles, she developed elegant, scalable digital solutions that drove traffic, engagement, and revenue.
