Title Senior Director and Head of Investor Relations, Foreign Investments and Industrial Cooperation Authority Company Israeli Ministry of Economy and Industry Bio Hovav Ref serves as a Senior Director and Head of Investor Relations at the Foreign Investments and Industrial Cooperation Division at the Israeli Ministry of Economy since December 2014. Mr. Ref joined the Ministry of Economy (formerly the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor) in 2002 and held various positions including Economic and Commercial Counselor at the Israeli Embassy in Beijing, Director of East and Central Europe Department at the Foreign Trade Administration, Director of Economic Affairs at the Israel Economic and Cultural Office in Taipei and Assistant to the Director of the Foreign Trade Administration and Head of Branch at the Middle East and North Africa Department. Prior to joining the Ministry of Industry, Trade & Labor, Mr. Ref worked in the private sector as an international marketing and business development consultant and manager. His last position was Manager and Senior Consultant at KPMG Israel, where he led a team of professionals that provided business consulting services to start-up and technology companies. Mr. Ref’s experience also includes business development and project management positions with enterprises dealing with the UK and North American markets. Mr. Ref Holds an MBA in Marketing Management and a BBA in International Marketing, both from Baruch College, City University of New York. Mr. Ref is married and has three children.
