He was named by the Boston Globe as one of the top Enterprise VCs in Boston, and appeared on the 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016 Forbes Midas List. Currently Izhar is an investor in several Israeli-related startups including: Airobotics, Capriza, Cybereason, and Simplivity that is being acquired by HPE; other current investments are Drift, 24M, Sense Labs, and TerraPower. Prior successful investments included four $1bn+ “Unicorn” IPOs: RPX, Virtusa, HubSpot, and iBasis, and several successful acquisitions including Xamarin (by Microsoft), GrabCAD (by Stratasys), Aveksa (by EMC), Performable (by HubSpot), Vlingo (by Nuance), Guardent (by VeriSign), Yantra (acquired by AT&T), and Oberon (by Vignette). Prior to joining CRV, Izhar was vice president of marketing at Onyx Interactive, a computer-based training company in Israel. Izhar holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and studied Cognitive Psychology at Tel Aviv University.
