Michele Laven is the President of Business Development and Partnerships for iHeartMedia. She plays a major role in creating innovative partnerships and relationships that enable iHeartMedia to reach a larger consumer base across key sectors including telecommunications, automotive, tablets and smartphones, gaming consoles, wearables and more. Under Laven's leadership, the iHeartRadio app is available across more than 60 unique device platforms and has been downloaded more than 700 million times. Prior to her current role, Michele was the President of Partnerships and Local Activation, where she identified and developed compelling strategic alliances and marketing programs for iHeartRadio, the company's streaming music and digital radio platform, and its key distribution and content partners. She also spearheaded the expansion of iHeartMedia's local sales capacity, developing multi-market revenue opportunities across 858 radio stations nationwide increasing the value for iHeartMedia's national and local partners. During her tenure, Laven held several leadership positions including Executive Vice President of Strategic Partnerships where she was responsible for many of iHeartRadio’s partnerships and integrations across the leading consumer electronic devices both in- and out-of-home. She also previously served as Vice President of Integrated Media for iHeartMedia Los Angeles where she developed campaigns that connected on-air, online, mobile and on-location marketing solutions for local advertisers. Prior to joining iHeartMedia, Laven was President and Chief Operating Officer of New Times Media (currently Village Voice Media,) where she was responsible for the operations of New Times Media’s collection of independent newspapers, as well as the company’s national advertising sales firm, the Ruxton Group.
