Senior Advisor, Policy and Legal Environmental Protection Authority Bio Tania has been with the EPA (previously ERMA New Zealand) since 2000. In that time, she has had a number of roles, starting as a Science Advisor in the Hazardous Substances Team, moving into the Compliance Team in 2007, and in 2014 moving into the Regulatory Policy Team to work on the HSNO reform. During her time at the EPA, Tania has gained a wide knowledge of the HSNO legislation, and a solid understanding of all aspects (technical, policy, operational and compliance) of the management of hazardous substances under HSNO. Prior to the EPA, Tania worked for many years as an analytical chemist in the environmental organics group at ESR (previously DSIR).
