Bio

Christel Fouché, is Principal Consultant for IMPAC Services Ltd. providing Occupational Health and Safety services to a wide range of clients in the Auckland Region and beyond. Recently joining the IMPAC Team out of South Africa where she was Director of her own OHS&E Consultancy. Having held roles within the consulting and training industry for the past 25 years, Christel has gained significant experience, working within various industries. She as completed her PhD in Risk Management as well as an MBA in Health and Safety. Christel is also a qualified and accredited facilitator and assessor with the Education, Training and Development Professional SETA, Health & Welfare SETA and Mining and Qualifications Authority SETA, as well as a moderator. Christel is an International Lead Auditor through IRCA and Exemplar Global (formerly known as RABQSA) in ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 Management Systems. Further to this, Christel is a South African Auditor and Training Certification Authority (SAATCA) Lead Auditor in Health & Safety, Environment and Quality ISO/OHSAS Management Systems. Christel was a finalist (taking 2nd place) in the South African CEO magazine's Most Influential Business Woman of 2009 Award. During the past three years Christel has published four books: Discussing SHEQ Issues; The Survival Guide for H&S Representatives; The HIRAC Survival Guide and The Auditing Guide for Auditors.
