Manager Occupational Health Worksafe New Zealand Bio Chris Jones is the Manager for Occupational Health at WorkSafe New Zealand, where he is responsible for developing and coordinating the long-term strategic approach to work-related (occupational) health risk management. Prior to joining WorkSafe, Chris was Head of Occupational Health and Wellbeing Strategy at Network Rail, the UK’s railway infrastructure management organisation, where he successfully developed and implemented a 10-year health improvement and risk management strategy for their 35,000 employees. Chris also spent several years as Professional Head of Physiology for Nuffield Health, one of the UK’s largest private healthcare organisations, consulting to organisations on strategic approaches to improving the physical and mental health of workers and overseeing a nationwide team of 110 Applied Health Physiologists who collectively delivered over 90,000 health and wellbeing interventions each year.
