Rachel Gerrol is recognized internationally for her work on millennial philanthropy, impact investing and social entrepreneurship and her projects have been featured in The NY Times, The Financial Times, The Atlantic, Forbes, Vanity Fair, The Chronicle of Philanthropy and as the recent cover story of Private Wealth Magazine. Rachel is Co-Founder & Global Curator of Nexus, an international network of leading young philanthropists, impact investors and social entrepreneurs from over 70 countries. Rachel has curated 25 Nexus summits since 2011 across 5 continents, including at the United Nations, The White House and No. 10 Downing Street. Rachel also helped organize the first “White House Conference on Next Gen Philanthropy & Impact Investing” in 2014 and Co-Chaired the G8 Young Summit in 2013. Rachel was founding Executive Director of PVBLIC Foundation, an innovative non-profit that aggregates and donates tens of millions of dollars worth of advertising space to social impact causes each year. In this role she continues to organize the annual Media for Social Impact Summit at the United Nations and the IMPACTHAUS Program at The Sundance Film Festival. Through PVBLIC, Rachel also worked closely with Vice President Biden’s office to launch the “It’s On Us” campaign to stop sexual assault on campus in 2014. Rachel was named one of the “99 Most Influential Foreign Policy Leaders under 33” by the Diplomatic Courier, received the 2013 Jewish Women’s Archive “Making Trouble/Making History” Award. She sits on the Board of Directors of the Birthright Israel Foundation and on the Next Gen Council of the USC Shoah Foundation and is a Corporate Advisor to Semester at Sea. Rachel Co-Chairs the Board of Jumpstart and serves on the Advisory Councils of Charity Miles and BeeSpace. She is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
