Bio
Kash Kapadia is Vice President and General Manager for Digital Health, one of the four strategic domains of Stanford Health Care. He is focused on building a value accretive Digital Health domain that powers the organization’s future growth and creates competitive differentiation through a distinctive digital patient experience. In this role he leads a multi-disciplinary team across Strategy, Alliances, Design Thinking, Innovation, Product Management, and Business Management. Kash joined Stanford Health Care from Hewlett-Packard, where he was Vice President and Worldwide Business Line Leader for Next Wave Industry Solutions, providing global cross-functional leadership for seven industry practices – Automotive, Banking, Consumer Goods, Insurance, Oil & Gas, Retail and Utilities. Among his notable accomplishments at HP was the incubation of the Smart Metering business line from conception to worldwide success in 18 months. Prior to HP, Kash held leadership roles with McKinsey & Company, Booz & Company, Sun Microsystems, and the Interoperability Lab. He holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and has taken additional executive education coursework at Harvard Business School. He is based in Palo Alto, California.
