Doug MacMillan is a technology reporter for The Wall Street Journal, covering venture capital and the private tech startups, like Uber and Airbnb, whose services are reshaping daily life for millions of people. His page one stories for the newspaper revealed Snapchat's fateful decision to walk away from a $3 billion offer from Facebook and explained why Uber has struggled to build a second line of business in local logistics. Prior to WSJ, MacMillan was a reporter with Bloomberg News and Bloomberg Businessweek, where he covered consumer Internet companies from Yahoo to Twitter and Facebook.
