Title Vaswani Company Matrix Partners Bio Anoushka joined Matrix Partners in 2015 and enjoys collaborating with early-stage entrepreneurs to build category-leading companies. Anoushka is actively involved with the firm’s investments in Lever, Inflection, Taulia and PayRange and is a Board Observer for ACME Technologies. She previously was a consultant at McKinsey & Co., focused on companies in technology, media and payments across functions ranging from strategy to sales. She helped lead McKinsey’s fast-growing technology initiative, managing engagements with pre-IPO technology companies. During her time there, she also worked with Facebook’s Internet.org team and co-authored the study “Offline and falling behind: Barriers to internet adoption,” examining the key obstacles that will need to be overcome to bring the next 4B people online. Prior to McKinsey, Anoushka worked at Goldman Sachs and advised companies on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and debt and equity offerings. She graduated with Summa Cum Laude from Columbia University, where she focused on and conducted research in behavioral economics. She was awarded the Leonard Pullman prize for service to the college and served as one of two student representative on the Columbia College Board of Trustees. Anoushka is fortunate to have lived in Dubai, Istanbul, Brussels, Singapore and New York before coming to the West Coast. In her free time, Anoushka enjoys running, skiing and reading (suggestions welcome!).
