Title Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist Company Copenhagen University Hospital Rigshospitalet Bio Expert paediatric airway management is part of my daily practice as consultant paediatric anaesthestist at Copenhagen University Hospital, Copenhagen. Primarily based at our ENT operation theatre, I perform advanced airway management in relation to diagnostic and therapeutic procedures on premature and term neonates. Emergency airway management in relation to syndromes of upper airway compromise is one of our key services. Airway management of elbw-children is performed in relation to therapy of ROP. Planning for, and performing, emergency airway management is also part of my job description, being responsible for the paediatic trauma reception organization at the level 1 trauma centre of Rigshospitalet.
