Dr Don Sharkey is a clinical associate professor of neonatal medicine and leads the Nottingham Neonatal Transport Medicine Research Collaborative.  This group of clinicians, nurses, engineers, electronic designers, vibration scientists and human factors experts are developing novel systems to improve the transport of neonatal patients.  They are currently developing what they hope will be the next generation of neonatal transport system that addresses all the weaknesses in the current systems.
