Lucy Mitchell, (MA (Hons), MRes, PhD), Human Factors Specialist

Lucy Mitchell is an Industrial psychologists with expertise in safety, behaviour and performance within high risk organisations (e.g. healthcare, NASA, Police).  She has extensive experience of training healthcare staff in human factors and non-technical skills, running team training, courses and workshops.  She has recently been using human factors approaches to assist with investigating incidents and improving safety systems in a large UK teaching hospital.  Prior to becoming a psychologist, Lucy was a police officer.
