Mike Fulkerson is the Chief Technology Officer for Capital One Labs. Capital One Labs focuses on building out a world-class team of design thinkers, designers, product managers, developers and data scientists to rethink and dramatically improve how millions of people spend, borrow, save, and invest.
Mike brings more than 20 years of experience working in technology, including leadership positions at Snagajob, ILOG (now part of IBM), and, for a majority of his career, at Rosetta Stone. He served in various roles at Rosetta Stone, including leading software development, the head of the advanced research and development lab, and culminating in running the entire product development organization as CTO. In addition to being part of the leadership team that lead Rosetta Stone's successful IPO in 2009, the products Mike delivered have now generated $2B in cumulative revenue.
Mike has multiple degrees in computer science; he received his bachelors and masters degrees from Villanova University and his doctorate from Duke University. He started his career as a surface warfare officer in the United States Navy.
