Carrie Mathews is Senior Director, Client Delivery at the CIO Executive Council (CEC).  She is a featured leadership development facilitator for the company’s custom Strategic Enterprise Services line of business, delivering  custom content and curriculum to F500 clients both onsite & in a virtual setting. Carrie has been a conference speaker at multiple IDG events and is also experienced in using customized, interactive gamification techniques. She has been active in programming and producing events for the CEC’s Women in Leadership community, and authored the CEC guide “Top 10 Most Important Pieces of Advice for Executive Women in IT”. 

Previously, Carrie spent two years working for the technology practice of the Corporate Executive Board (CEB) where she managed a team of researchers, authored reports on a range of technology issues and managed customer relationships on a global basis. She also spent two years as an associate in research at Duke University where she analyzed topics such as housing, tobacco and medical malpractice, which resulted in several articles being published in well-known academic journals. Carrie began her career as a research assistant at ICF Consulting focused on housing and community development work.

Carrie holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in political science from Colgate University.
