Title Director, Corporate Social Responsibility Company AOL Bio Joey Blumenfeld is a Director on AOL’s Corporate Citizenship team, which includes employee engagement, cause marketing and the AOL Charitable Foundation. These three areas are part of AOL’s broader philanthropic and volunteering efforts focused on empowering women, girls and underserved youth through leadership, education, technology and opportunity. Responsible for leading the team’s strategic partnerships and international programs, Joey most recently traveled to Africa for the Women in Science (WiSci) STEAM Camp, an initiative that the AOL Charitable Foundation co-founded alongside the U.S. Department of State, the UN Foundation, Intel and Microsoft. Through this first-of-its-kind program, 120 high school girls from across Africa and the U.S. traveled to Rwanda to participate in this three-week camp combining intensive instruction in coding and robotics with digital marketing as well as providing participants with a rich cross-cultural experience.
