Title Senior Strategist Company Purpose Bio Since joining Purpose in 2011, David Chernicoff has led and contributed to projects across all of Purpose’s practice areas, including work with the Rockefeller and Gates Foundations, Unilever and The B Team, and on the incubation teams of Workshift and Walk Free. He has developed some of Purpose’s core training resources and represented Purpose as a speaker and moderator at numerous events, including SXSW, the SHARE conference, and the MBA Innovation Summit. David’s background is in communications, including work in education, nonprofit technology, media, and the arts, and consulting for multinationals and startups in the social impact sector. In a past life he was a professional improviser with Chicago City Limits, New York City’s longest running comedy revue. David hails from and is based in the East San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated Cum Laude from Yale University with a BA in Humanities.
