UBS Elevating Entrepreneurs
Megan Mitchell is Program Manager for UBS Americas flagship philanthropic program Elevating Entrepreneurs portfolio of philanthropic partnerships and programs committed to bringing the right resources to the right entrepreneurs to help spur economic growth. Under this initiative, UBS provides business mentoring, access to capital as well as education and networking opportunities to help them grow their companies, create jobs and develop more enterprising local communities. Megan manages UBS's role in Project Entrepreneur, the newest program under Elevating Entrepreneurs and, a collaboration with Rent the Runway Foundation to increase the pipeline of women building economically impactful companies. Prior to joining UBS, Megan was a Senior Associate Director with Wharton Entrepreneurship, overseeing the co-curricular and experiential learning activities the department offered University of Pennsylvania’s students. She managed the design and execution of the year-long Wharton Business Plan Competition, as well as all aspects of the department’s Global Entrepreneurial Internship program. Megan was also a member of the Wharton Venture Initiation Program management team, and oversaw development of the department’s venture development programs at Wharton|San Francisco. Megan holds a BA in Economics and Public Policy Studies from Duke University and a MSEd from UPenn's Graduate School of Education.
