Jonathan Moore is the managing director of Mining Indaba™, the largest deal-making event committed to driving investments into the African mining sector. He has been leading the Mining Indaba for six years and has an in-depth knowledge of the economic, regulatory, and financial framework of mining across the continent.
Throughout the last six years, the Mining Indaba has solidified its position as the critical pathway to flow billions of dollars in foreign investments to capitalise the African mining value chain. Under his leadership, the brand increased its estimated value by 150% and continues to grow under its new owners, Euromoney Trading, LTD. Moore has a committed focus on staying true to the core value proposition of the Mining Indaba: to bring all the key deal-makers together and drive awareness of the attractive mining investments throughout the continent
His core belief in Africa’s untapped natural riches fuels his energy and continued expertise to bring global attention to the vast range of mining investment opportunities on the continent. He builds strategic partnerships with governments and industry influencers beyond Africa and explores and tests new markets to expand the global Mining Indaba brand.
Jonathan obtained his BS in marketing at State University of New York Plattsburgh. He has been managing global investment conferences for 6 years.
