Bio
Dagmar Hertova is an economist working in the UN Office of High Representative for LDCs, LLDCs and SIDS (UN-OHRLLS), based in New York. Her work is focused on the areas of landlocked developing countries, infrastructure, trade and trade facilitation and development assistance. Previously, she worked in the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs where she has co-authored the 2009-2012 editions of the MDG Gap Task Force Report. Previously, she worked as an economic researcher at the Bureau for Development Policy and Regional Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean, both at UNDP. She has participated in several development projects and co-authored several papers on topics related to trade integration, middle classes, regional financial institutions and GDP-linked bonds. Dagmar obtained her Master's degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and holds a BA in Economics and Contemporary European Studies from the University of Sussex.
