Bio

I have been working in Turkish Customs Administration since the beginning of 2005. I have worked more than 7 years on coordination of EU co-financed projects, Community Programmes (Customs 2007, 2013) and TAIEX Mechanism. I studied my Master’s Degree on Public Policy and International Affairs in the American University of Paris between September 2011 and August 2013. After my Master’s Degree I worked one year and half on conducting bilateral relations with customs administrations of other countries. Then I have been assigned to work on Trade Facilitation Issues.

For the moment, I work as EU Expert on Trade Facilitation Issues. My main tasks are to work on TF issues dealt with in WTO, WCO and other international organizations as well as on bilateral level. I am also a member of the team who is responsible for following the developments regarding WTO Agreement on Trade Facilitation and incorporating them in national implementation. I am also responsible for the negotiations of the Trade Facilitation Chapters of Free Trade Agreements.
