Title Counsellor Company Tax Policy Directorate, the Netherlands Bio Mr Rob van Kuik has been involved in the revision of the Kyoto Convention in the late nineties and in conceiving the SAFE Framework of Standards to secure and facilitate global trade. After spending almost 5 years in the field of direct taxes (negotiating double taxation agreements and tax information exchange agreements and being involved in global transparency and exchange of information efforts) he came back to Customs in 2011 and will be chairing the Permanent Technical Committee as of autumn this year.
