Gonzalo Pereira Puchy is the Director General of Chile Customs since March 2014.

He holds a lawyer degree and a Master’s degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV).  He has developed an extensive career in the academic and public sectors, having served as Legal Affairs Director of the National Fisheries Service; executive Director of the Study Program in Fisheries Law (PUCV); Former Secretary-General of Ecuador-based Permanent Commission of the South Pacific and Professor of   Public International Law.
