Benjamin Shoham, Ph.D.

As his career goal, Benjamin Shoham has used the opportunities of his 17 years of employment to improve quality of life through the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical industries. He began by developing an electro-chemical bio-sensor for people with diabetics for Elan Medical Technologies LTD. (Israel), Subsequently, he served as Head of Chemical Development at Proteologics LTD. (Israel), developing tools for drug discovery. Mr. Shoham was hired by SAFC, the commercial division of Sigma-Aldrich, serving in various business development roles. He was re-located to the United States, to assist in the creation of a new chemical solutions sales force, and in 2010 became part of a selected team to develop the Strategic Accounts Program. Today Mr. Shoham is managing the relationship with one of SAFC’s largest global strategic accounts. He is working with a multi-national team that covers a broad range of cutting edge technologies, products and services to support customer – oriented existing and future break-through drugs. Benjamin Shoham received his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
