Title Global Social Sustainability Manager Company Ford Motor Company Bio Thomas Niemann is the Global Social Sustainability Manager in the Sustainability & Vehicle Environmental Matters department at Ford Motor Company. He has been at Ford since December 1999. Thomas’ previous positions within Ford include Sustainability Reporting Manager; Manager, Executive Chairman’s Office; and Program Manager, Environmental Outreach and Strategy. Thomas is responsible for the Company’s Policy Letter 24 regarding Code of Human Rights, Basic Working Conditions and Corporate Responsibility, which includes assessment and compliance; identification of emerging issues (e.g., conflict minerals, human trafficking, etc.) and stakeholder engagement. Thomas is also the Company’s corporate water strategy champion. Thomas, a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, holds Bachelor and Master’s Degrees in Communications from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor).
