He is responsible for shaping the long-term business strategy for Philips in the Federal Government Enterprise and R&D sectors. Dr. Omidvar has worked as a consultant and solution provider to major U.S. government agencies such as the HHS, CMS, NIH, DHS, VA and DoD. Prior to joining Philips he was a senior principal at MITRE. Dr. Omidvar was Senior Director of Corporate Development at Motorola, prior to that he was a senior advisor and the primary representative in the Office of Science and Technology Policy at the White House.
