Farah is the Founder & CEO of G(irls)20. G(irls)20 cultivates future generations of female leaders through entrepreneurship, education and global experiences. It was the first social enterprise to lobby G20 Leaders to take action on increasing female labour force participation as a key to economic growth. Farah served as Director of Communications for Canada’s Deputy Prime Minister and has spoken at several international events in Sudan, Russia, Scotland, Paris and Australia. she was named Top 25 Most Influential Women in Canada by Women of Influence and BBC’s 100 Women in 2014 and is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for civic engagement.
