Bio
After being chosen by many Israeli radio stations as #1 on the charts. the young and very talented Shira Gavrielov is ready to take over the rest of the world. Shira was born in the spring of 1989 and has established herself as one of the music elites in Israel. Shiras father introduced her to music, being part of the Israeli musical existence himself, but it didn’t take long for her to start her own musical journey. At 15 she used that voice for the first time on a song entitled “Boy and Girl” (Naar ve Naara) that charted well enough to garner interest from major Israeli record label, NMC Israel. But wanting to keep on her own musical journey she decided to record her debut record on her own terms. But not before expanding her musical knowledge even more. At 17, she started attending the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music, a branch school of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where she was one of the youngest students ever to be accepted. Shortly after, Shira released “Haboker Ya’ir,” from her debut self-titled album. Shira had another taste of the spotlight, and decided she didn’t want her journey to end there. On top of the musical success, Shira was offered to be the first artist signed and sponsored by the mobile company, Cellcom. Shira was also chosen by fashion company, Pascha Studios, to be their spokesperson. Shira’s latest CD is Clear Vision witch was chosen to be in the top 200 albums of the year in collage radio stations in the USA for 2011. Preformed at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami on March 2012 with “Masss” (a Dubstep group she wrote some tracks 2). And recently past American’s Idol auditions for the 12 season.
