Title ‎Associate Director Company Verizon Ventures Bio Matt Schwartz is the Associate Director of Verizon Ventures and is responsible for sourcing new innovative solutions for Verizon Ventures and strategic development of the portfolio. He has extensive experience in the mobile & technology space and was previously Associate Director and Manager of strategic partnerships & new business development (respectively) at Verizon Wireless where he managed strategic partnerships such as Google, Facebook and Twitter, as well as developing new market business initiatives and strategic marketing. Prior to joining Verizon Wireless Matt held several roles in the entertainment sector including Senior Director of Artist & Repertoire (A&R) Operations for Sony’s Jive/Zomba Label Group, Sr. Director A&R Operations at Arista Records, Head of A&R Operations at Island Black Music (Island Records) and Director of International Marketing & A&R at TVT Records. Matt holds a B.A. from George Washington University and a Masters of Music from the University Of Miami School Of Music.
