Jason Sibley is a Director at GE Ventures Healthcare investment team based in Boston, MA. Jason currently serves as GE’s board observer at Labcyte, a company that developed an innovative new method of transferring liquid compounds in laboratories using sound waves, and HeadSense, an early stage company developing a non-invasive neurological monitor focused initially on an intracranial pressure, and previously LipoScience (Nasdaq: LPDX), Hayes Lemmerz International, and Total Safety. He is also involved in managing GE’s investments in Iora Health, a new model of primary care delivery, Aver Informatics, a bundled payments analytics platform, Quantum Health, a health navigation and care coordination platform, NanoString Technologies (Nasdaq: NSTG), a provider of life science tools and developer of molecular diagnostic products, HeartFlow, non-invasive analysis of cardiac CT data to determine blood pressure and flow through the arteries, and CardioDx, developer of a blood test for diagnosing coronary artery disease, and GE’s program with Start-Up Health. Prior to GE Ventures, Jason was a Vice President at GE Equity and was responsible for managing several debt-to-equity restructurings in the industrial and automotive sectors and part of the team managing GE’s legacy satellite and telecommunication assets. Prior to joining GE, he was a Vice President at Gleacher Partners, a $780MM mezzanine and equity co-investment fund. Prior to Gleacher, Jason was a Senior Associate at American Capital (Nasdaq:ACAS). Jason was also an Associate at Morgenthaler Partners in their buyout team, where he managed a portion of $2B+ private equity capital in management buyouts and leveraged recapitalizations. Jason started his career at First Union/Wachovia Securities as a Financial Analyst in the Investment Banking group. He has a BBA in Finance and History from the College of William and Mary. Jason has four children and lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
