Title Chairman & Founder Company Coral Group Bio Yuval is the chairman and founder of Coral Group. His contributions span across all stages of the enterprise building process including: strategy, operations, financing, M&A, and corporate governance. He has led dozens of Coral’s investments in diverse industries, such as media, internet, information services, systems and healthcare. Yuval has helped conceive, seed and build several of Coral’s portfolio companies; these companies have reached billions of dollars in market capitalization. Over a quarter of his investments have become public companies. Some of Yuval’s prior investments include: Advanced Fibre Communications (acquired by Tellabs; TLAB), Cerus (CERS), Macromedia (acquired by Adobe, ADBE), Magnet Communications (acquired by Digital Insight; DGIN), Optical Solutions (acquired by Calix, CALX) and vizrt (Oslo Main List: VIZ). Prior to becoming a venture capitalist, Yuval co-founded Zoran Corporation (ZRAN, acquired by CRS, PLC), a digital signal processing company in Silicon Valley. He also held staff and line positions with Raychem. Before moving to the United States, Yuval served as a fighter pilot, systems officer and instructor with the Israeli Air Force. Yuval holds degrees in mathematics, computer science and economics from the University of Alabama and a master’s in management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
