Mr. Martin A. Nisenholtz serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Center for Communication, Inc. Mr. Nisenholtz serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Columbia Journalism School. He is a Venture Partner of FirstMark Capital, L.L.C. Mr. Nisenholtz served as Senior Advisor for The New York Times Company until 2013 and also its Chief Digital Officer. He served as Vice President of New York Times Digital, LLC. Mr. Nisenholtz served as Corporate Senior Vice President of Digital Operations of The New York Times Company since February 2005, where he was responsible for the strategy development, operations and management of digital properties. Mr. Nisenholtz led digital for the New York Times in a variety of executive capacities for over 15 years. He served as Chief Executive Officer of New York Times Digital from June 1999 to February 2005. He served as President of The New York Times Electronic Media Company from 1995 to 1999. Mr. Nisenholtz served at The New York Times Company until January 2012 (for 17 years). He served as a Senior Vice President for Digital Operations of NYTimes.com. Mr. Nisenholtz was responsible for the development and delivery of electronic products centered around the content of the newspaper. He served as a Director of Content Strategy of Ameritech Corporation, where Mr. Nisenholtz was responsible for guiding development of new video programming opportunities and interactive information and advertising services. He was also a founding faculty member of New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP). Mr. Nisenholtz founded Ogilvy's Interactive Marketing Group in 1983. He worked at The Ogilvy Group. Mr. Nisenholtz worked at Ogilvy & Mather Direct and served as its Senior Vice President from 1983 to 1994. He began his career in 1979 as an Assistant Professor and Research Scientist at New York University, where Mr. Nisenholtz participated on the founding faculty of the Interactive Telecommunications Program and worked on pioneering interactive media efforts in the areas of education, healthcare and public information. He founded the Online Publishers Association (OPA), in June 2001. Mr. Nisenholtz serves as a Director of Center for Communication, Inc. He has been an Independent Director of Postmedia Network Canada Corp. and Postmedia Network Inc. since February 5, 2014. Mr. Nisenholtz has been a Director of Yellow Media Limited since May 9, 2006. He has been a Director of Jostens, Inc., since January 2013. Mr. Nisenholtz has been a Director of eXelate Media LTD. and eXelate, Inc since July 2010. He has been a Director of Sulia, Inc., since September 27, 2012. Mr. Nisenholtz serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Carmel Ventures. He serves as a Member of Board of Advisors at Simulmedia, Inc. Mr. Nisenholtz serves as an Advisory Board Member of New York Academy of Medicine. He serves as a Director of RealMatch. Mr. Nisenholtz received an MA degree in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania Annenberg School of Communication in 1979 and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1977.
