Nagraj Kashyap is a senior vice president of ventures and innovation for Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. In this role, Kashyap is the global head of the Qualcomm Ventures group and oversees the Company’s strategic investments in wireless industry ventures. In addition he oversees all business development activities for Qualcomm Research. Prior to Qualcomm, Kashyap was a manager at PRTM, a management consulting company and had direct client engagements with Nextel, Motorola, DuPont, Caterpillar, Michelin, Bell Mobility and ADC. Prior to PRTM, Kashyap was a senior product marketing manager at Motorola. He has also held engineering positions at 3Com/US Robotics and Nortel. Kashyap serves on the board of Brain Corporation. He is a board observer at Livescribe, Location Labs, and Sotera Wireless. Prior board/observer positions include Airvana (IPO:AIRV), Bitfone (acquired by H-P), Novarra (acquired by Nokia) and Clicker (acquired by CBS), Gaikai (acquired by Sony) and Avaak (acquired by Netgear). Kashyap graduated from University of Mysore in India with a Bachelor of Engineering in computer science. He then earned a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Texas, Austin, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
