Dan Senor is a bestselling author, an executive at Elliott Management, and a Trustee of the Paul E. Singer Foundation. Dan co-authored “Start-Up Nation: The Story of Israel’s Economic Miracle”, a New York Times Bestseller. Start-Up Nation is now being sold in over 25 countries and has been translated into 29 languages including Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Russian, Portuguese, German and French; it is a bestseller in India, China, Singapore, and Korea. According to USA Today, “Start-Up Nation [shows] what the Israeli case might teach the rest of the world.” Dan has also served as senior advisor on foreign policy for U.S. Presidential candidates. His prior government positions include Chief Spokesman and senior advisor to the Coalition in Iraq in 2003-2004, and Department of Defense official based at U.S. Central Command in Qatar. His analytical pieces have been published by the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Time Magazine, USA Today, and Washington Post. He is a regular guest on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and CNBC’s “Squawk Box”, and also appears frequently on ABC’s “This Week with George Stephanopoulos”, NBC’s “Meet the Press”, and CNN’s “Fareed Zakaria GPS”. Dan is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leaders and a graduate of Harvard Business School. He currently lives in New York City with his wife and two sons.
