A member of VMware leadership since 2007, Hubbard previously led Enterprise Services for North America, including Accelerate Advisory Services, Implementation Services, and Education via 2000 consulting professionals. Hubbard created VMware Accelerate Advisory Services in 2010, a global authority on cloud benchmarking, solution value analysis and transformation strategy. Accelerate Advisory Services has delivered more than 500 advisory engagements including Fortune 50 clients in most industries. In addition to his position as Americas Vice President, Hubbard is an official spokesman for the company, serves as an executive steering committee member of several VMware corporate alliances, and participates in VMware’s market strategy for solutions, acquisitions and service offerings. He is a featured VMware executive in the company’s social media CxO Corner, sharing ideas around IT Transformation. Annually, Hubbard leads VMworld executive tracks, and presents on Transformation at VMware’s Analyst Summit, Gartner Symposium, Infoweek500 conference, Evanta CIO events, and VMware Board-of-Director summits. Prior to joining VMware, Hubbard spent eight years with Oracle Corporation. He also has a background in management consulting with A.T. Kearney and technology consulting with EDS. Hubbard holds an engineering degree from the University of Illinois and certifications on platforms such as SAP, Oracle, and VMware. Hubbard also serves on the Board of Directors for Excedis, a BigData software corporation.
