Before joining BlueTalon, Eric was Executive-in-Residence at Scale Venture Partners, a leading venture capital firm focusing on Cloud, SaaS, and Big Data technology. ScaleVP’s portfolio includes Box, BrightRoll, DocuSign, RingCentral, DataStax, Exact Target, Chef, DataSift, RingCentral, and other leaders of the new enterprise technology economy. Eric sourced and evaluated new investments, and helped portfolio companies grow and scale. Prior to ScaleVP, Eric was general manager at Zynga, where he ran multiple business lines, setting growth and monetization records for all of them while using Big Data to drive growth. Eric previously founded two companies and served as CEO of three companies, all of which had successful exits (two IPO’s and one acquisition). Eric began his Silicon Valley career in product management at Oracle Corporation and has also held leadership positions at Intuit, Bain & Company, and venture capital firm Mayfield. Eric holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and an A.B. in Economics, Summa Cum Laude, from Princeton University.
