| Evolution or Revolution? The Future of FE Speaker Description As the 21st Century unfolds, we witness the world of work undergoing seismic change. We hear that many roles will be displaced by robots and that our learners will do jobs that haven’t been invented yet. With this in mind, how can colleges offer meaningful and relevant learning experiences that support and equip learners to be the best they can be and pursue the future they really want? We believe Scotland’s Colleges are uniquely placed to be able to make a significant and progressive contribution, if we are brave enough to rethink what we can offer. This Workshop seeks to explore two key themes: What do young FE Students really need? How can Colleges work more effectively and imaginatively with a range of stakeholders to meet these needs? |
